ALLENTOWN, PA (May 21, 2013) – Mack Defense, LLC (“Mack Defense”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack Trucks, Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment/indefinite-delivery contract (SPE8EC-13-D-0014) from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support in Philadelphia, PA. As part of this contract, Mack Defense will supply trucks and tractors of varying sizes and applications to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies through 2018.

The contract award is valued up to a maximum of 177.5 MUSD. Quotations and deliveries from Mack Defense begin immediately.
ALLENTOWN, PA (Aug. 21, 2012) – Mack Defense, a division of Volvo Group Governmental Sales (VGGS), announced today that it will supply West-Mark, Inc. with its MACK® Granite™ model trucks following a delivery order award from the U.S. Army Contracting Command out of Warren, MI. Under this order, West-Mark, a leading manufacturer of liquid transportation equipment, will complete 100 units for delivery to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD). The order will be fulfilled by January 2013 and is worth approximately $14.5 million, including spare parts.

Deliveries will continue through the contracting period of three years, with a two-year option. The contract includes spare parts and in-country service points.
GREENSBORO, NC (May 25, 2012) – Mack Trucks employees honored America’s fallen or missing military heroes during the recent Memorial Day weekend Rolling Thunder® – Ride for Freedom rally. Employees from the Mack Customer Center and Macungie Assembly Operations, both located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, caravanned to Hagerstown, Md. for a memorial ceremony at the company’s powertrain plant.
Following the ceremony, Lehigh Valley and Hagerstown employees traveled by truck and motorcycle to the nation’s capital, joining thousands of participants for the 25th annual rally. The tribute truck, a MACK® Pinnacle Axle Forward model, featured special graphics honoring the sacrifices of American military personnel and promoting the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.
